Brutos lists Alcohol By Volume of the Worlds most beloved beers. With over 15,000 breweries worldwide each brewing exactly one to well over 150 beers, no one App has been able to track ABV over time. Thus, Brutos was conceived some time ago.
ABV is color coded for at-a-glance distinction of 4 distinct strength levels:
Red - Higher Strength Beers and Barley Wines at 6% and up
Gray - Traditional Beer Strengths between 4 and 5% inclusive
Purple - Lighter Beers greater than 1% and 3% inclusive
Blue - Non-Alcoholic Beers at under 1%
A couple of observations:
-Majors and Micros continually tweak their product line resulting in changes to ABV
-Beer apps in the past have lacked user and brewery participation
